Jacquie and Dave posted a condolence
Wednesday, October 11, 2023
Carol, it's Jacquie, Dave and the boys from London, Ontario. We just found out about Tony from Fred 's daughter. We are shocked by the news and so sorry for your loss. He was so positive and always ready to offer a helping hand. He had the best lawn in the neighborhood Lol. He made such an impact on our boys that one of our son's stuffed toys is named after him. The neighborhood doesn't seem the same without you both; but we are very glad you were able to build memories with your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. A great loss of a great man. No one else like him! RIP Tony.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Tony was a favourite cousin. I remember his visits in Claresholm well, we were always so glad to see him. He loved to laugh and was such a kind-hearted person. I was sorry we lost touch when we were older. Susan Cornish

I will always remember uncle Tony‘s hearty laugh and welcoming smile. I loved his sense of humour and caring nature. He always seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say, and I always felt comfortable talking to him. I loved listening to him play the banjo when I was young and I loved him. I am so sorry Aunt Carol and Mandy for your loss. You are in my thoughts and my heart is with you. I hope to see you this summer.

Tony was a fellow classmate and later coworker in Woodstock NB some fifty years plus ago. We had a wonderful year or so working and playing there, a small group of us who then dispersed too soon. Anywhere he was Tony brought light and fun and positive energy. He treated clients like real people; he respected everyone just the same, and he shared freely what he had and knew. I hadn t seen him in many decades yet always felt a surge of happiness if I heard his name on visits to Fredericton, or thought of him and the old days.
Reading of his loss hurts like a dear family member, so I can only imagine how devastated his full time family are. He was rare and special and his memory is most surely a blessing.
He taught me to ride a bike too.

What a shock It was to see the smiling face of Tony at the top of an obituary in The Fredericton Daily Gleaner. No one else we know lives in memory with a perpetual smile on his face.
In the middle of the five Easterbrook children, Tony made his mark. The whole family will miss him greatly.
Our sympathy and prayers are with you all.

My condolences to the family. I was thinking of Tony not long ago and wondered where he was living. I have many fond memories of Tony during our social work careers. He had an infectious laugh, and was always lots of fun. Tony always had a way of making you smile. He will be missed by his family as I know he cherished them dearly.

It is with great sadness we read this morning of Tony's passing. Tony and I grew up together in our careers. Early on we shared an office as social workers in the old army huts in Fredericton. I will never forget his infectious laugh and great sense of humour as well as a great compassion for his work and those he served. We shared many good times together, even having childen born within a day of each other during a stormy March week in 1976. To Carol, Amanda and family, please accept our sincere condolences. You do have great memories that will last forever. Our prayers and thoughts go with you. Gary and Pauline Love

I remember Tony as a social worker who treated my sister and I with dignity and compassion. This was in Fredericton in the mid 1970s.
I am sorry for your loss. I hope that the Bible's promises of a resurrection will comfort you.
