The world has lost a beautiful woman. I first met Jean and Eddie over forty years ago while visiting Bev and was welcomed with open arms, kindness and love. I am very grateful for the many visits thereafter both on PEI and in Nova Scotia, and have so many warm memories of all the fun we shared. When I didn’t make it to the Island for my usual annual visit one year, Jean wrote to me in her Christmas card, “don’t ever let that happen again”!
Jean will be sorely missed by all who had the good fortune to knew her and will always be remembered for her love, kindness, intelligence, elegance, devotion to family and friends, and without doubt, her fabulous sense of style. May she rest in eternal peace.
