We are so saddened to hear of Liz's passing. Liz and Bill (and their family too!)were the best neighbours ever! We felt so welcomed when we moved to 24 Pine. Bill and Liz were kind and friendly and the best people. Liz was so talented and she made us a beautiful Christmas tree skirt and 6 matching placemats. They have come out at Christmas time every year for almost 30 years and will keep being a big part of our Christmas. They give us a cherished connection to Liz.
We wish you all love, strength and prayers.
Our sincere sympathy on your loss,
Bob and Marg (Vloet) Morrison

Sincere condolences to you Ann, Susan, James and families. I see so much of both her and Bill in you all and you live your lives making them proud everyday. May you hold all of the incredible memories close to you in the days ahead.
Elizabeth will be so dearly missed by all who we’re blessed to have her in their lives. My best childhood memories were made at the cottage in Desable with her and Uncle Bill playing host as they did so well! Always there for us no matter the request they were more like grandparents to us growing up. My favourite more recent memory is travelling to Boston with Eliz, Mom and 6 month old Maelle, we had a great trip (well as much as you can with a 6 month old in tow) and on the way home as Maelle and I retired to our hotel in Bangor for the night, Eliz managed to get mom back out to the shopping mall for another round of deal seeking. No hour in Bangor would go to waste!
Rest peacefully Aunt Elizabeth

I cannot begin to pick out all the wonderful memories that I have of Elizabeth. From an early age, I remember wanting to be like her. She would be getting all these papers in the mail and I thought that she must be so important to be getting all that mail. She was always working with papers and such. So I decided I wanted to be a teacher like her. I did follow in her footsteps and became a teacher. She tried to discourage me as she didn't stay all at teaching. I tried working at a bank but that didn't suit me. She was always making beautiful dresses for Carlotta and I as children. She even made my graduation dress and my sister in law, Helen's, wedding dress. She had wonderful hands and could create so many beautiful items-tree skirts, baby quilts for every new baby, placemats, dollies etc. Needless to say I didn't share this skill. She devoted her life to her husband, Bill and family. No one loved her home more than Elizabeth . I was lucky to be part of their family while I attended University. When I was raising my family, she was always there to lend a helping hand whenever she could. When I looked after Mom, she was always never far away to do what she could. As the years progressed, we enjoyed many trips to Boston to visit with our brothers and their families and of course to shop. I don't think anyone else could love Christmas Tree Stores more than her. I was also lucky to be able to be part of an extended family trip to Florida. It been Easter time, Elizabeth, Bill and I faithfully attended some very beautiful Easter services. Over the last few years at Beach Grove, Elizabeth and I shared many special moments, chatting with fellow residents, making puzzles, completing word searches (she could find words before I could) etc. We also shared a love of reading and she retained her reading skills to the end. But most of all she taught me the importance of family and how to be the best person you could be. Elizabeth lives on in our memories and in the lives Ann, Susan and James and their families. (their three treasures as Bill called them) Rest in peace, Elizabeth.

Dear Ann, Susan, James, and Families:
Those beautiful green eyes, those delicious biscuits, those gorgeous quilts made with love, and that beautiful, generous, compassionate heart of hers . . . what more can we say? Every thought and memory of our Sister, Sister-in-Law and Aunt will be held closely in our hearts forever. No trip to PEI would be complete without visits with Bill and Elizabeth and the entire Clan – whether it be in Sherwood or at the cottages at Tracadie Bay and DeSable, it was always a treat and something to look forward to. And no trip would be complete without a care package awaiting us after a long day on the road: cinnamon buns, biscuits, jams, bacon, adult beverages, need we say more? The best hostess on the Island! And I think we can all agree that if she ever lost her day job at the Bank, she could have, without a doubt, become a professional shopper!
With heavy hearts, we say good-bye (for now) to this incredible woman. We wish we could be there with you all, but certainly will be in spirit in celebrating the life of our amazing Elizabeth! We love and miss you all!
Joe (from Heaven), Mary Lou, MaryAnn and Glen

Elizabeth was a wonderful person, with a great heart. I have many memories of her, and a few of them included bargain shopping in Filene's Basement. She had an eye for fashion and a deal! One of my favorite memories was spending time with her and Bill in Florida. Each morning she worked on the crosswords and the Jumble puzzle and made sure we were all a part of it, until the puzzle was done. Deepest sympathy to all of her family.
