We would like to send our condolences to the Doiron family on Roy’s passing. He painted our home for us many times. Roy was a wonderful singer and we will always cherish singing with him in the Gloryland Express. Carla & Rick Clark

We were clients of Roy’s for 20 some years. There isn’t a room in our house that he hasn’t painted at least once and it still shows what a professional he was. When he came, we always arranged two things:one, to have some squares for Roy’s sweet tooth and two, music while he was working. Often we would go to work for the afternoon and leave him with our disc player on full blast then come home to find him still working and whistling away to the music as if he was having fun instead of painting for 6 or 8 hours! Roy told us a little of his struggles before he turned to religion. He offered to pray with me when I had cancer. Roy always talked about his family with much love. We always had a special place for Roy in our house but we know he now has his own special place, well earned. Goodbye Roy, so glad we crossed paths.

I want to express my sympathy to each of you. May God comfort and strengthen you at this sad and difficult time...and may He grant you His peace.
Roy was a great man. I first met him about 30 years ago when he was leading the praise and worship at an in-home prayer and praise/Bible Study group that was establishing some of the connections/roots (in the Summerside area) of Faithworks Charlottetown. I saw him as an integral part of that group. Our lives took us in separate directions ...and we weren't reconnected until about a year ago when I found myself at another in-home group ...with Roy sharing his musical gifts intertwined with his Christian experiences and personal testimony. We compared (non-musical) notes and reminisced in the warm memories of by-gone days.
I always enjoyed his God-given gifts, his humble nature, and his ability to intertwine personal experience with his testimony.
This is a man that will be missed by many. Hugs...and MOORE hugs.

While sitting in Sun room. A familiar person appeared at the sliding door. Of course it was uncle Roy. He did that! Al way just popping in to say hi out of the blue. This day I had just made seafood chowder he was glad he came he said. After having a bowl of the chowder and biscuit we had a talk. Then he surprised me by singing a song. Such a great visit. Love you Uncle Roy.
