My deepest sympathy to the Harvey family. I met Robert when he worked at Hyndman and Company. I visited him daily to pick up accounting documents. We had lots of conversations. His love of his wife and daughters was always a topic that he enjoyed to share. Take care.

Dear Ferne & family-I am so saddened to read of Bob’s death in the paper. I first met Bob as a young girl. He had just started working at Stewart Motors and he arrived at our home on a Sunday afternoon to talk to my Dad. They worked together for many years and I know Dad had a real respect for Bob as I realized later in life that Bob held for my father. Bob visited my Dad often when Dad was at the Old Prince Edward Home and his visits always brightened Dad’s life on those days. When I visited Dad after one of Bob’s visits, Dad was more animated and could even tell me a story or 2 about the Stewart Motor Days. I like to think that Bob and Dad will get together again and relive those memories. I am so sorry for your loss Ferne and am keeping you in my prayers. God Bless you all. It was a pleasure of mine to regularly run into Robert because we both took daily (well,almost daily) walks at the Charlottetown Mall. Despite his ongoing battle with cancer he was, for the most part, positive in attitude. Reminds me of the hymn a line of which says "For I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I've entrusted unto Him until that day." To me that was Robert. To Ferne and all Robert's family please know that you have my sincerest condolences. Jim
