Obituary of Mary Helen Holland

Peacefully at the Garden Home, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, of Mary Holland (nee Koughan), of Charlottetown (formerly of Tarantum), aged 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Daniel Holland and loving mother of Helen Holland, Linda Blacquiere (Kenny), Jeannie Rayner (Jimmy – Deceased), Judy MacKinnon (Mike). Grandchildren Daniel and Spencer Blacquiere, Jordan Holland, Megan Hill and Josh MacKinnon. Great-Grandchildren William and Roselia. Mary is also survived by her daughter-in-law – Sandra Holland, brothers - Henry Koughan (Annette – deceased) Joe Koughan (Elaine), sisters- Anita Koughan and Catherine Koughan and sister-in-law – Phyllis Koughan. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Ella (Duffy) Koughan; sons – Daniel Jr. and George; brothers – Canisius, Elmer, Lorne (Mary) and Earl (Phyllis). Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford with visitation on Wednesday, August 7 from 5 - 8 p.m. The Catholic Women’s League will hold a prayer service prior to visitation at 4:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus on Thursday, August 8 at 10:30 a.m. If so desired memorial donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
