Obituary of Betty Osborne

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, March 23, 2023 the death occurred of Elizabeth “Betty” Bernadette Osborne (nee Cheverie) of Mt. Herbert, PEI, age 89 years.  

Loving mother of Bernadette Constable (Ken) and Donna Osborne. Cherished grandmother of Tara, Jonathan, Nicholas, Christopher, Jessa, Shelby, Renee and 7 great-grandchildren.  Betty will be missed by her sisters Winnifred Strang (Ian), Edith Broderick (John) and Marlene Clinton (Bernard).  Predeceased by her parents Warren and Marguerite (Grant) Cheverie, husband Leonard W. Osborne, her children Kimberley and Geoffrey Osborne, 5 brothers and 7 sisters. 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 11:00 am from St. Mary’s Church, Souris.  Interment will take place later in the parish cemetery.   No visiting hours by request.  

Memorial donations may be made online to the PEI Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
