Obituary of Brendon Gerard Ostridge

The death occurred peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre in Charlottetown, on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 of Brendon Gerard Ostridge, of Fort Augustus, age 80 years.  

 

Beloved husband of Georgina (Henry) and loving father of Kent (Carol), Shane (Erin), Rosanne MacLeod (Craig), Grant (Melissa) and Sue Ellen Ostridge (Ryan Johnston).  Cherished grandfather of Marissa, Nate, Ainsley, Parker, Jack, Grace, Chloe and Landon.  Brendon will be missed by his siblings Margaret Dunphy, Charles (Debbie), Melvin (Ellen), Louis (Betty), Theresa Valadka, Elaine Murphy (Wayne), Lawrence (Dianne), Anne MacLeod (Jimmy), Brady (Valerie), David (Danita); sisters-in-law Sylvia Ostridge, Claudia Zwicker (Robert “Bob”), Verna Stevenson; brother-in-law Blair Henry (Linda) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents John “Jack” and Ida (Handrahan), brother Carl and brother-in-law Bert Dunphy.

 

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home where visiting hours will be held Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 3-6 pm.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 20, 2023, at 10:30 am at St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus.  Interment later at the parish cemetery.

 

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Palliative Care Association of PEI Inc. and the St. Patrick’s Parish Cemetery Fund.
