Obituary of Leonard William Gunn

Peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Garden Home in Charlottetown PEI on Monday, February 6, 2023, the death occurred of Leonard William Gunn, of Lower Malpeque Road and formerly of Savage Harbour, age 74 years. 

Loving father of Robert (Tracey), Tracy Gunn, Keir (Michelle) and Keith (Laura). Cherished grandfather of Justin (Vicki), Jarrett (Kendal), Chelsey (Kyle), Courtney (Keaton) and Griffin. Great-grandfather of Payton, Trinity, Presley, Cassidy and Griffin. Leonard will be missed by his sisters Georgina “Georgie” Harris and Rose Landry. Brother-in-law of Carl Munn, Shirley Gunn and Irene Long. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Lester and Elizabeth (McQuillan) Gunn, his beloved wife Teresa (Hayes) and his siblings Audrey Munn, Lester (Mary), Kenneth (Linda), Keith and Keir.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 10 from 4-7 pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, February 11 at 10 am from St. Dunstan’s Basilica. Interment will take place later at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made online to Alzheimer’s Society or the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
