Peacefully and surrounded by her family at Whisperwood Villa, Charlottetown on Thursday, January 26, 2023 the death occurred of Dianne Marion Hendricken (McCabe), age 76 years.

Loving mother of Calvin Larkin (Tracey) and Jackie Kennedy (David). Grandmother of Cole, Grace, Abby and Mya Larkin and Larkin, Lance and Lincoln Kennedy. Dianne will be greatly missed by her siblings Frances McInnis (Jack), Kenneth McCabe, Glen McCabe (Brenda), Elaine Koughan (Joe) and Danny McCabe (Chris) and sister-in-law Anita Rooney. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Beth McCabe (MacPherson), by her husbands William “Billy” Larkin and Phelan Hendricken; siblings - Lorna Harris (Brent), Phyllis McIsaac (Francis), Colleen Duffy (Gerard), Charlie, Ronnie and Donna (infancy) McCabe. Dianne is also predeceased by her brother-in-law Gerald McInnis and sisters-in-law Carol Ann McCabe and Phyllis McCabe.

Dianne lived a life committed to faith and family.

She enjoyed playing cards, meeting up with her siblings and friends for coffee, and her daily calls with her dear sister Elaine.

Dianne’s family was everything to her - and family dinners were especially important. We will all miss her chicken dinners, especially her dressing and gravy.

Nothing brought her more joy than her two children and seven grandchildren. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and took an avid interest in all of their activities - especially sports. She spent many hours in the rinks and on the fields. And when she was no longer able to attend in person, frequent - and timely - updates were required. She will be deeply missed.
