Obituary of Ken MacDonald

John Kenneth “Ken” MacDonald passed away with family by his side at the Beach Grove Home on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of 69 years to Anne (Farrell) MacDonald. Dear father of Susanne MacDonald, Nancy Lee MacDonald-Hofkirchner (Terry), Sharon MacDonald-Cannatella (Tony), Paul (Mildred), Joan MacDonald, Sandra Aguila (Ian) and Mark (Deanna). Grandfather of Ryan, Matthew, Alexander, Jenifer, Dante, Alanna, Cameron, Veronique, Anthony, Melody, Cecil, Zoe, Edward, Sarah and Connor. Great-grandfather of Cameron, Gabbie, Emmit and Leighton. Brother of Dr. Wayne MacDonald (Patricia). Ken is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son John Kenneth MacDonald and his siblings Vernita Pastorelli, Gloria McKenna, Shirley MacRae and Helen Blancafor. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. A Funeral Mass will be held from Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 10:30 am. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made online to Beach Grove Home.
