Obituary of Helen Kathleen Murnaghan

The death occurred peacefully at Parkland Retirement Home in Halifax, NS, on Thursday, March 14, 2019, of Helen Kathleen Murnaghan (Campbell), of Halifax, NS and previously of Riverview, NB and Charlottetown, PE, age 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Felix Murnaghan. Loving mother of Norman (Dorothy), Daniel (Sheila), Nora and Peter (Rita). Helen will be missed by her sister - Anne Kenny (Eugene); son-in-law Tom Green; and 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter - Mary Imelda "Mel" Green; parents - Thomas and Gertrude Campbell (nee Murphy); siblings - Bill, Jack, Arthur, Louis, Charles, Mildred Kirwen, Grace Campbell, Laurena Campbell and Emma Connelly. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 19, 2019 at St. Dunstan’s Basilica at 10 am. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery Charlottetown. Visiting hours on Thursday from 7-9 pm. Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Upper Room Hospitality Ministry.
