Obituary of Kaitlyn Randi-Lee Waters

Surrounded by family on Thursday, November 24, 2022 Kaitlyn Waters of Stratford; formerly of High River, Alberta passed away peacefully at the tender age of 17 years. Beloved daughter of Steve Waters and Shanna Waters (Al Neumier). Loving sister of Alisha and Natalie. Cherished granddaughter of Randy and Arlene Bruinsma, Deborah Waters, Keith and Susan Neumier. Kaitlyn is fondly remembered by numerous extended family and friends around the world. Katie will be remembered not by her struggles, but her strength and admirable spirit. Her personality was too large for words. Everyone she encountered was met with her infectious laugh, and fondly welcomed into her heart with open arms. We will be forever grateful to her for making us better people and teaching us how to truly love. Katie is resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford from where a visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30 from 10-10:45 am followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11 am. Everyone is welcome. Donations in Kaitlyn’s memory may be made online to Camp Gencheff; a place where she found great joy and belonging.
