Obituary of Andrew John Ewasiuk

Peacefully at home on Monday August 22, 2022, the death occurred of Andrew John Ewasiuk of Stratford, age 53 years. 

Cherished son of Sheila Ewasiuk (Quinn). Special friend of Margaret Mahoney. Andrew is a fondly remembered nephew of Marion Morrison (Norbie), Danny Quinn (Bernadette), Faye MacLeod (Ian), Kevin Quinn (Debbie) and Tammy Quinn. Andrew is also survived by numerous cousins. Predeceased by his grandparents Vinie and Ivan Quinn, John Sr. and Betty Ewasiuk, father John “Andy” Ewasiuk and uncles and aunts; Leo Quinn, Bernadette Quinn and Susie Chisholm (Daniel).

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am from Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford. Visiting hours will be held at the Hillsboro Funeral Home on Thursday 4-6 pm. 

The Funeral Mass is available for viewing.

Cremated remains of Andrew’s father, John “Andy” Ewasiuk, will be interred with his son, Andrew at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fort Augustus. 

Memorial donations may be made online to the Canadian Cancer Society.
