Jeanne was like a second mother to me in during the old Vet school days. Always a kind smile, sage advice and that wry sense of humour! She was a generous hearted soul and was always genuinely interested in the lives of friends and family and always happy to see said people! I was lucky to be able to keep in touch with Jeanne for several years after Vet school when she would travel to Ontario to visit Ivan. I would be invited to a wonderful lunch (courtesy of Mark) or spirit them both over to a garden tour in whatever house I lived in in at the time! Jeanne did epitomize warm family values and I will always remember that most about her. She was family! Sincere condolences to Sandy, Mel, Kerry and all extended family. Joanne Rutledge

I was so sorry to hear of Jeanne's passing our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time. I use to take my mom Fannie Roberts to Charlottetown to visit her and spend some time with her. They were great friends. I know how hard it is to loose a parent as mom passed away May 20,2020. Take care and know she is in a better place. I 'm sure her and mom will enjoy spending time together again.
