To all of you Prosper Kids, I send my deepest love and condolences. I was so struck by how the boys as "little boys" all favor their Dad as a little boy. Of course, the photo of the bath tub races at a rink was a delight to see. Georgetown didn't just produce men or fathers, it produced "institutions" in our lives. Your Dad was an institution for all of us growing up -- one of the very few "office workers" we knew in the 1970s. I can still see him walking across the street fashioned in dress pants, button down shirt, tie, and sports coat. Beautiful times. Much love to you all as you take steps into the days and times ahead. Winnie and Ernie's whole family, We are heartbroken at this news of Ernie's passing. His warmth, his friendship and his amazing help to all of us at Serenity Lane will be missed deeply. Always ready to help...and organize music, fun and a party....we loved the times we shared a quiet refreshment on the deck or with company. The best memory is of Ernie fighting the wind and Rain in Tropical Storm Bill, making his way tinour cottage with drinks under his jacket not wanting to leave us Prairie folk by ourselves during the storm.
