Obituary of Marvin Dewar Corney

Surrounded by his family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Marvin D. Corney passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2022 at the age of 61 years. Dear husband of Elaine (Thompson). Father of Amanda Thoy (Kevin), Allan (Brittany), Shawn (Maeve) and Kyle (Katie). Grandfather of Hudson, Easton and Atley. Son of Margaret Corney and son in law of Wendell Thompson. Brother of George (Linda). Brother-in-law of Marjorie Thompson and Kevin Thompson (Sandra). Marvin is predeceased by his father Hessell, his sister Thelma Chappell and his mother-in-law Joan Thompson. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. Due to current restrictions a private (invitation only) visitation and funeral service will be held. Interment later in Clifton Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made online to KidSport PEI. The funeral video may be viewed anytime after 3 pm Monday.
