Obituary of Robert Constable

Peacefully and surrounded by his family at Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 the death occurred of John Robert Constable of Charlottetown, age 79 years.

 

Loving father of Cheryl Doucette (Mike).  Cherished grandfather of Kelsey Doucette (Chris MacDonald) and Katelyn Wedge. Great grandfather of 2 great-grand-daughters. Robert is also survived by his wife Edna (Jenkins). Predeceased by his parents Robert James and Ruth (Brown) Constable and his brother Norman (Harriet).

 

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford.  Due to current restrictions, there will be no public visitation and a private (invitation only) funeral service will be held. 

 

Interment will take place later at Hazelbrook Cemetery.

 

Memorial donations may be made online to the PEI Humane Society or the Provincial Palliative Care Centre.

 

The funeral video will be available for viewing January 29, 2022 after 4 p.m. 

 

Robert’s family would like to express their deepest thanks to the Provincial Palliative Care team for their care and attention shown to Dad.
