Obituary of Alexis Eve Blaxland

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Alexis Eve Blaxland of Stratford on Friday, January 14, 2022 at the age of 25 years.

Loving daughter of John Earl McPhee (Annie) and Tammy Anne Blaxland. Sister of Megan Rodgerson (Jamie), Madison, JJ and Peyton McPhee. Grand-daughter of Avery "Bamp" and Marlene (Comeau) "Nan" Blaxland. Dear special niece of Elizabeth Hughes (Glen), Kelly McPhee (Steve Cote) and Joanne McPhee as well as other numerous aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. Honorary sister of Cassidy Hughes. Very special aunt of Emerson and Fletcher Rodgerson. Predeceased by her grandmother Helen Marion McPhee and also by her great-grandmother Eve MacDougall (Comeau).

Some of Alexis many accomplishments included her graduation from Oulton College (Class of 2016) as a Pharmacy Technician and she has been working in the field for over a decade. She was an avid ringette player for the Charlottetown Ringette Association. Alexis will always be remembered for her infectious laugh, smile and love for others. 

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. Due to current restrictions a private (invitation only) funeral service will be held. No public visitation.

Interment later in Crossroads Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made online to the Canadian Mental Health Association (PEI Division).
