Obituary of Elizabeth Lourentia Halman

Peacefully at her home in Glenfinnan on Monday, December 27, 2021, the death occurred of Elizabeth “Liz” Lourentia Halman (Bos), age 92 years.  Loving mother of Martin (Judy), Robert (Carmen), Henry, Patricia Halman (Joe Alexander), Nicky (Marlene), Sebastian “Bill” (Francis Decoff) and Bethany Halman. Cherished grandmother of Steven, Donna, Ashley, Jacklyn, Jessica, Jamie, Jordan, Justin and Ethan as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sister of Jean Schevers, Catherine Halman and Gretha Kays. Sister-in-law of Ria Bos, Shirley Kennedy and Anne Bos. Predeceased by her husband Nicholas Halman, by her parents Wiebertus and Wietsce (Kranendonk) Bos, her siblings Sebastian Bos, Jerry Bos, Ben Bos (Brenda), Robert Bos, Gerard Bos (Mary) and brothers-in-law Guy Schevers, Ralph Halman and Peter Kays. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford.  Due to current restrictions a private family funeral service will be held (invitation only). No public visiting hours will be held. Interment will take place at St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery, Fort Augustus. Memorial donations may be made online to St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus.
