Obituary of Wilna Jane Monkley

Wilna Jane Monkley passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Garden Home on Saturday, June, 5, 2021 at the age of 96 years.

Dear sister of Shirley Barrett (Claude, deceased). Survived by her nephew Wylie Barrett (Sharon), niece Lena Putnam (John) and several grandnieces and grandnephews.  Wilna will be missed by her friend, Wendy Holmes, and many others.  Predeceased by her parents Horace and Lena (Toombs) Monkley. 

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. Due to current restrictions, a private graveside service will be held in People's Cemetery, Kensington at a later date.  No public visiting hours will be held. 

Memorial donations may be made to Children’s Wish Foundation or the Halifax IWK Hospital.
