Obituary of Nora Mary Stephenson

Peacefully at Whisperwood Villa, on Thursday, February 11, 2021 the death occurred of Nora Mary Stephenson (Beamish), Charlottetown, age 91 years.

For many years, Nora and her husband Steve were the owners and operators of An Island Rose Bed & Breakfast in Stratford, PEI.  Nora shared a love of travel with her family, allowing them to experience much of the world together through the years.  She was an accomplished square dancer, sewed beautifully, and had a genuine talent for the written word.  She will be missed. 

Loving mother of Linda Stephenson and Susan Whitaker (John). Cherished grandmother of David Gendron, Laura Page (Charles) and Hannah Schroeter. Great-grandmother of Eliana and Emelia Page. Predeceased by her parents John and Eva (Adams) Beamish, husband Steve Stephenson and daughter Joanne Stephenson. 

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford.  Due to current restrictions, a funeral service will be held at a later date. No public visiting hours will be held.  Interment later at Sherwood Cemetery.
