I am so sad to hear of Vic's passing. He was a lovely man, so easygoing but always up for the craic. He looked after me whenever I came to Barrie or to the Island. We had great fun on the golf course (with Dan) and many a good night in Wickie's and other places I won't mention. He loved coming to Ireland and his trips here was something we all looked forward to. The stories we could tell! Vic will be sadly missed by all the boys he golfed with and had a few pints with, especially me! RIP buddy Dermot Burke. Ireland.

So sorry to hear of Vic's death. Our sympathy to the White family. I have many fond memories of Vic, going all the way back to Grade 1. We played a lot of sports together. Vic was an amazing athlete in any sport he played. He was also one of the most intelligent people I have ever met. Vic also had a great sense of humour and we shared that humour during our visits. Rest well, good friend. You will be missed.

Our deepest sympathy to all of Vic's family. Vic was a kind, gentle man who loved to tell a tale, wait for few seconds and then with a twinkle in his eye, he would laugh when we clued in that it was a joke. On one of our trips to Barrie for a visit, we followed Vic in his truck as he was returning to Ontario after a PEI visit. Vic had a way of going along the highway at a good pace, a bit faster than what we were used to travelling. As well, our son Sam , who was 4 at the time, accompanied Vic from PEI to Quebec. Both Vic and Sam really enjoyed each other's company for this part of the journey. Along the way, Vic had lots of stories to entertain Sam as Sam continued to point out people/places/cows/trucks/tractors/etc to Vic to keep Vic entertained as well. RIP good friend. You will be missed by so many people here but there is joy in heaven as you are reunited with all those who have gone before you.

Vic was the best uncle anyone could ever ask for. He was incredibly smart, generous, had an amazing sense of humour, and had an amazing memory to recall many fun adventures that he and his many friends had. I remember being a young child and seeing Vic wear a black Guinness t-shirt. I thought it said Genius. I came to learn that Vic was actually a Genius who loved a good pint of Guinness! We will miss you Vic. Rest In Peace.
