Obituary of George Winston MacGillivary

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on December 23, 2020 the death occurred of George Winston MacGillivary of Charlottetown, age 80 years. Beloved husband of Audrey (Sowers). Loving father of Ron (Nikki) and Lisa Elzinga (Dan). Cherished grandfather of Andrea Shaw, Ryan Shaw, Megan MacGillivary and Krista MacGillivary. Stepfather of Libbie Ramsay (Theresa McInnis), Audrey MacPhail (Mike Ready) and Brenda Kennedy (Jamie). Step grandfather to Brittany and Logan Bingley and Brooke and Bailey MacPhail. George will be missed by his brother Paul and his sister Fern. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. Due to current restrictions, a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made online to the Salvation Army (PEI) or Kidney Foundation.
