Veteran WWII and war bride Peacefully at the Garden Home on Thursday, October 22, 2020 the death occurred of Denise Ursula Martel/Loiselle (nee Martin) of Charlottetown, age 98 years. Loving mother of Andre (Gail), Durban, South Africa; Marc, St. Jerome, Quebec; Lisa Penny (Roy), Murray Harbour, PE; Pat (Nancy), Stratford, PE; Kurt, Grand Tracadie, PE and Roger, Sangudo, Alberta. Granny D. of Michelle, Patrick; Gramma Denise to Matthew, Michael, Timothy, Jessica, Ishan, Keleigh and Yiriannis. Also fondly remembered by great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husbands Edward Martel and Guy Loiselle, sons - Rodney and Bobby Martel and siblings Roger Martin and Mickey Martin. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. Due to current restrictions a private family funeral service will be held. Interment will take place at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Memorial donations may be made online to the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch No. 1 Charlottetown.
