Obituary of Stewart Andrew Robb

It is with great sadness that the family of Stewart Andrew (Andy) Robb announce his peaceful passing at the QEH on Friday, September 4th at the age of 77 years. Born March 10, 1943, Andy is the son of the late William Hans Robb and Edythe McTaggart Robb (nee King). Andy is survived by his cherished wife of 54 years, Nadine Mary (Deena) Robb (nee Webb); his much adored daughter Lindsay Victoria Robb; his very dear son-in-law Andre Bousette, and his darling grandchildren Clara and Axel Robb Bousette. With quiet excellence, Andy made his contribution to society as a retired Professor Emeritus who taught in the History Dept. at UPEI, and through his extensive volunteer involvement with the East Royalty Lions Cub; the Island equestrian community; the Joyriders Therapeutic Riding Association.; the PEI Museum & Heritage Foundation and other areas of particular interest to him. Andy was a voracious reader who loved rock climbing, squash and tennis in his youth, followed by gardening, traveling, and kayaking in later years. But most of all he loved his family and friends. There will be no visitation or funeral by personal request, but a memorial gathering will be arranged when possible. Condolences may be sent to the Hillsboro Funeral Home, www.hillsborofh.ca.
