Obituary of JoAnne Elenor MacDonald

Saint Theresa It’s with broken hearts the MacDonald family of Corran Ban announce the passing of JoAnne Elenor MacDonald, age 59, on August 3, 2020. Joanne is the much loved partner of 32 years of Allan Morrison. She is survived by their daughter Lydia Louise and Allan’s daughter Chelsea. Joanne is the daughter of Jack and the late Joan (Trainor) and dearest sister "Beanie", to George (Karen), Helen (Buddy) Sutherland, Brenda (Pat) Murtagh, Michael (Bernie Corrigan), Lennie (Carolyn) and Desi (Cathy). Joanne will be forever missed and loved by her many nieces and nephews and their families. Joanne is fondly remembered by Allan’s family: Henrietta and the late Angus Morrison, Lloyd (deceased) (Wanda), Michelle (George) MacDonald, Hughie (Judy), Carl (Sandra), Terry and Ian. Resting peacefully at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. No visitation by personal request. A private funeral and grave side service will be held. Interment will take place at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Corran Ban. In memory of Joanne, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
