Obituary of Ruth Catherine Shea

The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, July 30, 2020 of Ruth Catherine Shea (Hughes) of Glenfinnan. Beloved wife of Cecil and mother of Michael (Andrea), Patti Shea (Leo), Maureen Ruelas (Eric) and Jennifer Harrison (David). Grandmother of Kieran, Emily, Joshua, Tyler, Daniel, Adam, Rebecca and Abigail. Sister of Melvin (Gail), Lornie (Marlene), Patsy Sherren (Barry), Bernice Doyle (Eugene) and Dianne Ostridge (Lawrence). Predeceased by her parents Emmett and Margaret (Kelly) Hughes and her sister Eleanor Cheverie. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. Due to current restrictions a private family visitation and funeral mass will be held. Interment in St. Patrick’s Church Cemetery, Fort Augustus.
