Obituary of Thomas Alexander Mahood

Peacefully, at the Prince Edward Home on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 of Thomas Alexander Mahood aged 82 years of the Prince Edward Home and formerly of Glenfinnan and Mississauga, Ontario. Predeceased by his dear wife Elinor (Hughes). Loving father of Sharon Avis (Andy) and Allan Mahood (Linda). Grandfather of Steven, Matthew and Justin Mahood and Dylan and Tyler Avis and Great-grandfather to Evan. Tom was brother-in-law to Avila Taverner, Gladys Curley, Thelma Kelly (Merlin) and Marlene Hughes (Raymond). He was predeceased by parents - Tom and Jean Mahood; sister - Joan Mahood and brothers-in-law - Gordie Taverner, Eugene Curley and Edward Hughes. We wish to thank the staff of Prince Edward Home, Garden Home and Andrews of Stratford for their care and kindness. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford. There will be no visitation or funeral by personal request. Interment later in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fort Augustus.
