Obituary of Philip James Douglas

Suddenly at Kingston General Hospital in Kingston, Ontario on Wednesday, August 21st, 2019 of Philip James Douglas of Head of Hillsborough, aged 38. Loving father of Alex and Jordan Douglas, and their mother Nancy. Beloved son of Anita (nee Cummiskey). Special brother of Anne (Davis), Paula (Wes) Moran, Amy, Arin and Patti (Jarrett). Loving uncle of Hunter, Sophie, Abigail, Rowan, Monserrat and Paulie. Predeceased by his father Paul, grandparents James and Mildred Cummiskey, Coffin and Betty Douglas as well as aunts Joan Desmarais, Judy O'Brien, uncles Leonard Douglas, Jamie Douglas, Gerard Aylward, Pat Desmarais. Survived by aunts and uncles Rita Aylward, Marie and David Douglas, John (Dianne) Cummiskey, Tommy (Yvonne) Cummiskey, Allan (Alice) Cummiskey, Michael (Shelley) Cummiskey, Jane (Lloyd) O'Brien, Lester Douglas, Garry O'Brien as well as numerous cousins and friends. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford for visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am from St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, Mount Stewart. Interment in the St. Andrew’s Cemetery Mount Stewart. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Andrew’s Cemetery or to the trust fund set up for Alex and Jordan.
