Obituary of Helen Elizabeth Driscoll

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital of Helen Elizabeth (Lib) Driscoll, on Friday, April 19, 2019, formerly of Mt. Herbert, aged 84. Beloved wife of Lawrence Driscoll and loving mother of Sheila Driscoll. Lib is also survived by her sister Virginia Oatman; brother-in-law Wilf Driscoll (Mary - deceased); sisters-in-law - Joan Driscoll and Bernadette Driscoll and her many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Leo and Susan (nee DeLory) Grant, brother - Ray Grant (Maureen); brothers-in-law - Charlie Oatman, Bob Driscoll, Gerald Driscoll (Marie), and Fred Driscoll. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation Tuesday, April 23, 2019, from 3-6 p.m. The CWL will hold a prayer service prior to visitation at 2:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford, at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Mount Herbert Memorial Cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Mount Herbert Memorial Cemetery or the Parkinson’s Society would be appreciated.
