Obituary of Mary Leona Morrissey

The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, April 6, 2019 of Mary Leona Morrissey of Charlottetown, age 83 years. Sister of Ursula MacDonald, Pauline McCabe and Lorraine Morrison (Ken). Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters - Sister Florence Morrissey, C.N.D, Sister Claire Morrissey, C.N.D, Zita Stewart (Allison), brothers - Walter (Cecelia), Orwell, Myron (Ruby), Cyril (Eileen), brothers-in-law - John B. MacDonald and Lewis McCabe. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at St. Pius X Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment later at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
