Obituary of Kenneth Jerome McDearmid

The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, March 29, 2019, of Kenneth Jerome "Kenny" McDearmid of Charlottetown, age 84 years. Father of Shelley Runighan, Nancy Allen (Bill), Mark (Barbara), Robbie (Michelle) and Vicky McDearmid. Papa is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother of George (Doris), Dale Sentner (Eldon), Heather Gill (Joe) and Colleen McGregor. Predeceased by his wife Mary "Josie" (Chaisson), sons - Glen, Tommy, Mickey, Lee, Hal, Terry and son in law Peter Runighan. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 4-7 pm. Funeral from Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro funeral Home on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 10:30 am. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the QEH Foundation would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
