Obituary of Jarrod Glenn Akagi Smith

With heartfelt sadness we grieve the passing of Jarrod Glenn Akagi Smith of Charlottetown on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, age 33 years. Dear husband of Kelly (Mallett) Smith and father of Lily and Emmett. Son of Rick and Cecilia (Akagi) Smith of Fredericton, NB and son-in-law of Ernest Mallett. Brother of Adam (Diane), Ian (Jessica), Craig (Erin) and brother-in-law of Nicholas Mallett (Sarah). Grandson of Ralph and Marie Smith. Close family friend of Jennifer Power (Mike). Survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his mother in law Mabel Mallett and grandparents Motosaku and Romona Akagi. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 1:30-2:45 p.m. followed by Funeral service at Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Lily and Emmett’s Trust Fund would be appreciated.
