Obituary of Marion Bertha Henry

On August 6, 2018, we lost our dear mother, Marion (Nanny). She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin, and they lived for many years on a family farm in Keppoch. Marion was born and raised in Millview, to parents - the late Richard and Bertha Mutlow, and had two brothers - the late George and Harold Mutlow. Left to mourn are her two children Maxine and Phillip (Barb); four Grandchildren - Lou Ann (Michael), Stewart (Mary), Patrick (Elycia) and Charlotte (Alex), and seven precious Great-Grandchildren. For many years Marion was a volunteer at the QEH. Our Mother’s life was marked by her love of laughter, love of the shore and her wonderful cooking. She was the world’s best cook and baker and never missed an opportunity to tell us she loved us. As by personal request all arrangements are private. To honor our beloved mother we would ask you to hug a loved one, take a walk in nature or have a good laugh. The time she was in our life made the world seem a happier place. To those who gave assistance on her final journey, we are forever grateful. Her greatest inheritance is the enduring compass of love left us to navigate these unpredictable winds of life. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford. Online condolences may be sent to hillsborofuneral@eastlink.ca.
