Obituary of Amy Matheson

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Saturday, April 28, 2018, the death occurred of Amy Matheson, of Charlottetown, age 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Roland Franklin Matheson. Loving mother of Deborah Wheatley (Norman). Cherished grandmother of Kelly MacDonald (Darcy) and Great-Grandchildren - Gabriel and Avery MacDonald. Amy will be missed by brothers - Ronnie Gallant (Velda - deceased) and Bert Gallant (Elsie). Predeceased by parents -Albert and Mary (nee Wedge) Gallant, Granddaughter - Sherri Lynn Wheatley, Sister - Margaret Wilson and brother- Francis Gallant. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford. As per personal request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Private graveside service will be held at Sherwood Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Q.E.H. Foundation would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
