Obituary of Theresa Emelda Gallant

Peacefully at Whisperwood Villa, on Thursday, April 26, 2018, the death occurred of Theresa Gallant, of Charlottetown, PE, age 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Faustin Leo Gallant. Loving mother of Noella Watts (Grant) and cherished grandmother of Holly and Matthew Watts. Theresa will be lovingly remembered by sisters - Marie Richard (Edmond - deceased), Doreen Gallant (John) and Claudette Poirier (Austin) and brother-in-law - Ken Waugh. Predeceased by parents - Philip and Rosie (Gallant) Wedge, sister - Anita Waugh and brother - Clifford Wedge. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Monday, April 30, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. The CWL will hold a prayer service prior to visitation at 3:45 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at St. Pius X Church, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
