Obituary of Karen Patricia Nicholson

Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at the Toronto General Hospital on March 1, 2018 of Karen Nicholson, age 28 years, of Mississauga, Ontario. Loving wife of Taha Abbasi and beloved daughter of Frank and Helen Nicholson and daughter-in-law of Ali and Sumera Abbasi; siblings - Mary, Jeannie (deceased), Ruth Ann (Simon Tousignant) and Justin (Meagon Striemer) Nicholson; sisters-in-law - Ramsha and Talha Abbasi; very dear friend of “Skye” (woof); and cherished and loyal friends -Bethany Fitzpatrick, Samanatha Hughes and Jessica Morrison. Karen was dearest aunt to Marianna, Gabriel and Karina Tousignant and Connor and Hailey Nicholson. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Monday, March 12, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Eugene’s Church, Covehead on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
