Obituary of Barbara Ann Edmonds

After a lengthy battle with cancer, Barb has gone to her eternal reward. The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her large family at the Provincial Palliative Care on Sunday, February 25, 2018, of Barb Edmonds of Stratford, age 69 years. Beloved wife of Emanuel Edmonds. Loving mother of Daniel (Michele), Steven (MC) and Clay. Barb will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren - Brooke Redmond and Xavier, Owen and Dawson Edmonds; special friend - Tracy Redmond; brother - David Wakelin (Fay); sister - Carolyn Ford; Carolyn’s daughters - Joanne, Tracy and Laura Lee; Carolyn’s son - Corey; sister-in-laws - Mary, Silvia, Mary, Eleanor Wakelin and Mary Edmonds and Eileen Abbot (Bruce); brother-in-laws - James (Marlene), Merlin, Julian (Rita), John (Darlene) and Joseph (Lynn) Edmonds; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by parents - Cecil and Margaret Wakelin; brothers - Keith, Stewart (Gloria - deceased), Jackie, Charlie, Earl and Ray Wakelin. Barb was very thankful for the opportunity to say hello and goodbye to her family and friends (until we meet again) so there will be no visitation or funeral by personal request. A graveside memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Special thanks to Home Care and Palliative Care.
