Obituary of Viola Catherine Murnaghan

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 of Viola Catherine Murnaghan of Stratford and formerly of Donagh, age 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Dennis Murnaghan and loving mother of Rita Corrigan (Joe), Carol Callaghan, Lois Kenny (Francis), Lornie (Melvina) and Russell (Dianne). Viola will be lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law, Jo-Anne Murnaghan; 10 grandchildren, 21 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary Ann (nee MacDonald) Trainor, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, October 27, 2017 at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Stratford at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Ryan Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Mt. Ryan Cemetery would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
