Obituary of Joan Marie Johnston

Passed suddenly in Calgary, Alberta on Thursday, May 25, 2017 of Joan Johnston of Stratford, age 69 years. Beloved wife of Bob Johnston and loving mother of Stephanie Cairns (Colin). Joan will be lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law - Bhairvi Johnston, grandchildren - Maya, Morgan, Brianna and Megan, brother - Gerard (Paula) Kelly. She was predeceased by her son - Mark Johnston, parents - Reginald and Mildred (nee Cusack) Kelly, her brother - Paul Kelly and her sister Claire McIsaac (Donald). Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 4 - 7 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
