Obituary of Mary Margaret Gunn

Passed peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 of Mary Gunn of Charlottetown, age 75 years. Beloved wife of the late Lester Gunn and loving mother of Jacqueline Doiron (Donnie), Brian, Jason and Stephen Gunn. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren - Amy, Chastity and Crystal Gunn, Katelyne Axworthy, Samantha Gunn, Haley Doiron and Sophie and Emma Gunn; great-grandchild - Addison Axworthy; siblings - Albert Hayes (Peg), Joseph Hayes (Lorraine) and Helen Bell (Ed - deceased). She was predeceased by her parents Vincent and Margaret (nee Kelly) Hayes, sister Teresa Gunn and brother Leonard Hayes. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 5 -8 PM. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Stratford Chapel - Hillsboro Funeral Home at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Mount Stewart. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
