Obituary of Louis O'Leary MacDonald

Passed peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, February 16, 2017 of Louis MacDonald of Charlottetown, age 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (nee Jardine) and loving father of Francis (Carol), Douglas (Marion), Albert (Deborah), Howie and Andy MacDonald. Louis will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren - Craig, Carissa, Jacinta and Andrea; son-in-law - Kenny Hennessey and sister-in-law - Joan Jardine (Stan - deceased). He was predeceased by his daughter - Darlene Hennessey, brothers - Shawn (J.J.) and Albert; sister - Hilda and brother-in-law - Brian Jardine. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Monday, February 20, 2017 from 6 - 9 PM. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Stratford Chapel - Hillsboro Funeral Home at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place later at Floral Hills Memorial Garden. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the PEI Humane Society would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
