Obituary of Hazel G. Rice

The death occurred at the Misericordia Hospital in Edmonton on Monday, January 16 of Hazel G. Rice formerly of Charlottetown and originally of Montreal in her 99th year. Wife of the late Gordon M. Rice and mother of Ronald F. Rice (Katherine Morris) of Charlottetown, Kenneth G. Rice of Sherwood Park, AB and Norma Jean Colquhoun of Lacombe, AB. Lovingly remembered by 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Sister of Vera Morris and George Parsons. Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Jesse (Wallace) Parsons, sister Edna Norman and brother Fred Parsons. Funeral service will be held Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Stratford Chapel - Hillsboro Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Clark of St. Paul's Anglican Church. Interment to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Garden. Completion of funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
