Ronald St. Onge

Obituary of Ronald Albert St. Onge

Someone once said “I don’t want to get to the end of my life and find that I have just lived the length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well.” This was no where more true than of Ron, not just as the end became more tangible, but throughout his whole life. Every moment mattered and represented an opportunity to try something new, to see something new, to firmly plant his feet in a new experience and hopefully, to be able to share that with family and friends. His most important moments were ones that he was able to share with his love and forever ally, Wendy Toy, and together they travelled the world, explored both land and sea and were connected with a quiet nature, immense respect and profound love. Always enthusiastic about new ideas and the energy of youth, Ron’s manner was both reverent and irreverent, ensuring that others were kept on their toes. Pragmatic, thoughtful and steady, Ron approached all things in a way that allowed for a tremendous amount of comfort for those around him.
