Obituary of Darrell Chaisson

The death occurred peacefully at Prince Edward Home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 of Darrell Chaisson, age 59 years. Beloved son of Susan and cherished brother of Debbie MacDonald (Victor), Brenda MacCormack (Peter), Sharon Richard (Steve), Mary Lee Larkin (Larry), Marlene Robichaud (Herbie), Michele MacAulay (Ronnie), and Frances Mahar (John). Darrell will be lovingly remembered by 30 nieces and nephews and 13 grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Emmett and his Nannie and Grampie, Joe and Julia MacAulay. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation on Saturday, January 2 from 6 - 9 PM, then transferred to Dingwell Funeral Home, 8 Church Avenue, Souris for visitation on Sunday, January 3 from 6 - 9 PM and 1 PM until time of funeral. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 4, 2 PM at St. Mary’s Church, Souris. Interment will follow at St. Alexis Cemetery, Rollo Bay. In memory of Darrell, donations to PEI Association of Community Living would be appreciated. Completion of funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
