Obituary of Marion Euphemia Robbins
It is with great sadness, but also with great joy for a life well lived and full of love, that the family announces the passing of Marion Euphemia Robbins (MacDougall) aged 89 of Stratford and formerly of Kinross. The death occurred peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre, Charlottetown.
Beloved wife of the late Elwood Robbins. Cherished mother of Gary (Diana), David (Natalie), and Melinda (Peter) Wolters. Much loved Grammy to her 4 grandsons Mark (Jenn), Aaron (Allyson), Grant and Isaac and special Grammy Robbins to her 4 sweet great-grandchildren Marley, Reese, Callum and Russell. Marion is also survived by her siblings June Sanderson and Doug MacDougall and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John and Rhoda MacDougall as well as brothers Lorne, Roland, Gordon, and Kenny and sisters Margaret MacLeod and Alice MacPhee.
Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers of the Provincial Palliative Care Centre for the exceptional comfort and care they provided Mom and to the entire family.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, Stratford for visiting hours on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 4-7 pm. A funeral service will be held from St. Andrew’s United Church, Vernon Bridge on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10:30 am. Interment in the church cemetery.
