Anna's grandparents originally come from Lithuania. Till 1990 Lithuania was occupied by Russia and it was a part of the Soviet union. The communication with family members in Lithuania was very complicated and very limited due the local government rules and different languages. Anna and Sterling invested a lot to pass the Soviet union border successfully. At last in 1979 they visited us and their large family in Lithuania. There were Anna's three Aunts, many cousin sisters and cousins lived there in Lithuania. Anna won all of our hearts with her love, sincerity and positivity.
Unfortunately the fate of life determined our changes of communication and meetings.
We have three special moments when we were able to visit each other. All the time we felt her love and care. We will miss you very much Anna. Deepest condolences of Anna's loss to all family and friends in Canada and USA. Rest in peace dear cousin sister.

So sorry to hear of Anna' passing. My sister in law, Laura and I delivered meals to Anna through Meals On Wheels and always enjoyed visiting with her. She seemed such a gentle soul and was so appreciative of our service. I have no doubt she is a Guardian angel for all who loved her. Rest in Peace, Anna!

We are so saddened to hear of Anna’s passing. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. She and Sterling moved next door to us when they returned to P.E.I. They were both so good to us and to our children, we all have so many fond memories of them. Sadly we are in Alberta visiting right now and will not be able to attend her funeral but know that you will be in our hearts. There is no doubt that Anna is with the angels in heaven now

I am saddened by Anna's passing but am very grateful at the support she received from her family and friends on PEI. Anna was a magnificent person and I am forever thankful to have her as my godmother. I remember the Saturday trips we would take to Nantasket Beach on the South Shore of Boston. The water was cold and the beach a bit rocky, but the main attraction was the Paragon Park amusement park across the street from the beach. Anna also cared about education and gifted me with several Dr. Suess books during my childhood days. I still have the books and have shared them with my children. I will miss her but she is now with her eternal family and friends.

I'm so sorry to hear of Anna's passing. Being neighbours, my brothers and I spent a lot of time at her and Sterlings house growing up. They were both so good to us. I've thought of her often through the years. I'm thinking of all of you during this tough time.

With heartfelt thoughts that Anna is no longer in pain. So many happy times were shared with much laughter during the September visit and grateful for the time spent together. Always loved and forever in our hearts. Much love from Gerry Robertson (sister-in-law) Christine Wilde (niece) from Ontario

Our dear sweet Anna has gone to a better place… I will miss our many talks, laughs, and yes, even the odd spirited debate. Such fond memories growing up with Anna and Sterling… We used to wait as kids in the window knowing they’d be making the drive from Boston to PEI on a particular day. You couldn’t peel us away from the glass while we waited for them to arrive, like kids waiting for Santa… Rest easy Anna
