Obituary of Edith Wilhelmiena Marie Birt

Peacefully and surrounded by family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 the death occurred of Edith Wilhelmiena Marie Birt (Koke) of Charlottetown, age 63 years.  

Edith will be missed by her siblings Hilda Kennedy and Winston Koke. Edith is survived by her nieces Ellen MacKinnon (Desmond) and Sarah Kennedy and by her uncle George Koke (Judy). Step-daughter of Shirley Koke. Edith is also survived by her very dear friend Judy Sherry. Predeceased by her parents Jacob Koke and Jean VanHamersveld and by her husband Leonard Birt.

Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home.  No visitation or funeral service will be held by personal request. 

A graveside service will be held at Mount Stewart People’s Cemetery on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 1:30 pm. All are welcome to attend.
