Obituary of Claire Larkin

Peacefully and with her family by her side at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown on Sunday, October 13, 2024, the death occurred of Claire Sara Larkin of Charlottetown, age 66 years. Beloved wife of Dave MacFarlane. Loving mother of Donald Jameson (Vanessa) of Alberta and Dennis Jameson (Natalie) of Charlottetown. Step-mother of Cathy Beaton (Forrest), Dave MacFarlane (Sarah), Joey MacFarlane and Daniel MacFarlane (Kera). Grammie to Taelyn, Kaden, William and Henry Jameson. Nana Claire to Laura, Graham, Madelyn and Reid MacFarlane. Claire will be missed by her siblings Sharon Beaton, Elaine Hennebery (Joe), Sandra Larkin (Dave Bradley), Joseph Larkin (Lucy), and Teresa Ellis. Sister-in-law of Helen Larkin, Joan Larkin, Derry Virtue. Predeceased by her infant daughter Emily, her siblings Jim Larkin, Pat Larkin, Lorraine Larkin-Virtue and her brothers-in-law Deryl Beaton and Gary Ellis. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where a funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 am. All are welcome to attend. No public visitation by personal request. Memorial donations may be made online to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
